This year, Spinal Health Week runs from 23 to 29 May and the theme is ‘Back Your Inner Athlete’.
With the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics just around the corner we thought it was a fun idea to focus on letting your inner athlete surface!
You may be an athlete like Usain Bolt who famously said, “I may not always win gold medals, but when I do I get adjusted first”. You may be an athlete like Tiger woods who declared, “I’ve been going to a Chiropractor for as long as I can remember. It is as important to my training as practicing my swing”.
Or you may just be you, who gets adjusted regularly to support your run to the train station in the morning when you’re running late, lifts the weight of a 10 kg child for cuddles or feel like you deserve a gold medal each day attempting to keep your boss happy! Either way we are here to back your inner athlete and help you function at your best!
The world health organization now rates lower back pain 2nd and neck pain 9th in Australia for its Global Burden of Disease. Decreased spine function and pain can impact your social, emotional and physical health, taking away energy from the things you love to do! Regular Chiropractic adjustments and maintenance can prevent these things and maintain you and your families over all health.
